Tiffany Haddish is a comedian, actress, and producer who appeared as Dina in 2017’s Girls Trip, alongside Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, and Regina Hall. Her additional film and television work includes The Last O.G., Night School, The Carmichael Show, Keanu, and a turn as host of the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards. Her debut stand-up special, Tiffany Haddish: She Ready! From the Hood to Hollywood, debuted on Showtime in August 2017. In November 2017, she made history by becoming the first black female stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live.
Soon, Haddish will star as the host of ABC’s revival series, “Kids Say the Darndest Things.” Haddish will also serve as executive producer on the series. Taped in front of a live studio audience, the show will feature both in-studio segments and bits taped all over the country.
Tiffany Haddish will perform at the historic Fox Theatre. In 1928, the Fox was conceived as a home for Atlanta’s Shriners organization. Shortly before its completion, the Shriners leased their beautiful auditorium to William Fox, a movie mogul who had launched his empire by building theatres across the country. The theatre was completed and opened on Christmas Day in 1929.
By the late 1960s, beautiful landmark movie palaces like the Fox were falling out of favor, replaced by suburban movieplexes. After years of financial hardship, the Fox’s doors were closed in 1974. In 1975, after months of painstaking restoration efforts, the Fox opened its doors once again. Now primarily a venue for a huge variety of headlining events, the “Fabulous Fox” has become a legend in its own right.
