Jennifer Lopez is turning 50 in 2019, and she's celebrating her birthday with an epic new tour—It's My Party—one she's bringing to roughly 25 cities across the US and Canada!
Jennifer Lopez is an American actress, singer, dancer, and producer. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film.
She went on to star in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998), later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in Hollywood. Lopez ventured into the music industry with her debut studio album On the 6 (1999), which helped propel the Latin pop movement in American music.
Aptly dubbed the "It's My Party" trek, the tour will feature incredible performances of old hits and new songs, as well as amazing backup dancing courtesy of the stars of her hit TV show World of Dance. The all-new show will also feature a dazzling wardrobe, jaw-dropping technology, and set design, and all of the glamour and wow-factor fans have come to expect of Jenny from the Block.
